Tea Book - Max Fry

Tea Book - Max Fry
The Tea Book by Max Fry

Max Fry is a well-known Russian author. This is not his real name. The writer Svetlana Martynchik is published under the pseudonym "Max Fry". Initially, there were two authors - Igor Stepin, together with Svetlana, on books, but later Martynchik began to work independently. All the books released under the Max Fry brand in recent years have come exclusively from her pen.

The most popular series of books from Max Fry is the cycle about Exo ("Labyrinths of Exo," Chronicles of Exo "and" Dreams of Exo "). It was they who brought fame to the author. However, these are not all of his books. In particular, the "Tea Book" has some success.

The tea book: what is this piece

The first thing you need to know about The Tea Book is that it is not a full-fledged novel, but an anthology collection. It contains stories by various authors, and they are all united by a common theme. As you might guess from the name, this is tea.

The book contains stories by such authors as Max Fry, Tatiana Zamirovskaya, Laura Beloivan, Yulia Tkacheva, Alexander Shuisky, Alexandra Zvolinskaya, Anna Likhtikman, Konstantin Naumov, Katie Trend, Leia Lyubomirskaya, Maria Stankevich and Nina Heimets.

This book is a kind of continuation of the "Coffee Book", a similar collection of stories already on the topic of coffee.

A distinctive feature of the "Tea Book" is the unique atmosphere that the authors create in their stories. They breathe coziness, calmness and warmth from them. One wants to spend long autumn evenings reading this book.

The main feature of this book is branded tea recipes, which the authors publish at the end of each story. For example, one of them:

Uns drunk tea recipe

The recipe depends on the circumstances under which the tea was not drunk. If, for example, you did not have time to drink an already prepared cup, left the house, putting on your coat on the go, quickly walked down the street, breathing cold air soaked in rain, then a piece of dark chocolate is added to the tea. If you just changed your mind about drinking tea, you can add a leaf of mint and one more ingredient to it - any, but the first one that comes to mind: a spoonful of honey, a geranium leaf, the contact of a battery when you touch it with your tongue, a pinch of wormwood, grated shells, plantain stem, lucky ticket, etc. If you have not poured yourself tea, not because of a change in your own mood, but for another reason, it is recommended to increase the number of additional ingredients.

The recipe is taken from the first story in the collection - "Once in Ovidiopol." Its author is Nina Heimets. The author's style has been completely preserved.

Who should read the "Tea Book"

The collection "Tea Book" should first of all be read to people who love tea and cannot imagine their life without it, and also value coziness, comfort and tranquility. For those who do not need a dynamic plot in books, but something more measured and even is suitable. The Tea Book is perfect for people of all ages. Each of them will learn something new from this collection: at least learn original ways to brew black tea.

Recipes from the "Tea Book"

Here are a few more recipes from the Tea Book that might seem interesting.

Katy Trend Shamanic Tea Recipe

The basis for shamanic tea is large-leaved badan. The dying brown leaves are harvested during the summer and dried in the kitchen; but you can buy ready-made in the eco-shop.

Add a green tea set to the kettle: mint, thyme, lemon grass.

Sagandaila, "white wing," is added in small amounts, a sprig on a teapot. You can buy it in the same e-shop or in the datsan.

Shaman tea is pleasantly different from ordinary Chinese tea in that the tea leaves can be left in the teapot for a day or more. A good help for a shaman who may come out of trance tomorrow or in two days - and he still has tea.

(Katie Trend: Transsiberiade story).

Eating tea leaves is undoubtedly the most terrible perversion of all invented by mankind. So here's a recipe for you. Tea is brewed directly in the cup. Sugar must be added (at least one spoon, but two is better). When the tea is finished, just make sure no one is seeing you and quickly eat the sweet tea leaves. Then brush your teeth, rinse your mouth, plant a lilac bush in the courtyard, pay for school for orphans, organize a network of free canteens, listen to your neighbor when she retells the program “Let them talk” and go to bed. Today's brew has been redeemed.

(Anna Likhtikman: story "To love Fira Kitsis").
