Now to history.

Yesterday we delivered a delivery to our regular customer. Usually the order was for Lavazza ORO coffee and various extras (cups, tea, sugar, etc.), but the last 2 orders were without coffee.

We know our customers personally and have good relations with them, and therefore the question is "why did you stop buying coffee?" was quite normal.

But the answer that they found a lot cheaper (almost 100 UAH) alerted me. We have been selling Lavazza coffee for 7 years, and we know that miracles do not happen. Naturally, there is always healthy competition and prices may differ by 10-20 UAH from stores, but not by 100 UAH. Lavazza ORO coffee cannot be sold to the end consumer below wholesale purchase.

Naturally, the client showed us a pack that the lav-shop.com.ua store had sold to them, accusing us of greed and exorbitant earnings on clients.

Randomly, I had boxes of original Lavazza coffee with me, and the client and I compared these 2 packs.

Differences:

• Top seam. He is very crooked soldered. On the left there are 3 stripes, and on the right it turns into 1.
• Valve. Made in the likeness of the 2nd generation, with two slots on the sides. It is not soldered neatly and without inscriptions, if you scratch it with your fingernail (and we told you about this in the article Attention fake!)
• Color. The color of the fake was bright gold, although the original Lavazza Oro has a darker shade.
• The date and batch imprint is 1.5 times the size of the original and erases by itself.
• The inscription Lavazza is visually more than 30% than on the original packaging.
• The packaging was thinner and the pack did not hold its shape, but stretched like a cheap bag.
• The taste and smell are not even close to the original, our client has already noticed and said this.

Which coffee to buy is of course up to you. We all understand that the economic situation reduces the solvency of the population.

There are many other manufacturers of your favorite drink and you can pick up coffee "affordable" for everyone. But buying a fake is not worth it just because demand creates supply, and the number of "basement lavazza" will only increase.
